Hi, I'm Lea, a detailed-obsessed bookkeeper with a big heart for organization, numbers, and doing things the right way.
Over the years, I've worn a lot of hats: I've worked at a CPA firm juggling multiple client accounts, supported real estate business (I was a licensed agent in Florida for four years), and even worked behind the scenes in the restaurant industry, No matter the setting, my priority has always been the same: deliver accurate, honest, audit-ready financials, and make sure the people I work with feel supported, not confused.
I'm certified in QuickBooks, including payroll, and have completed over 60 hours of accounting coursework at Austin Community College. While QuickBooks certification reflects proficiency in the software, true accounting requires applying financial principles beyond the platform. I bring both skill sets: system expertise and accounting knowledge, to ensure your books are accurate, compliant, and truly meaningful, not just data entered into a program.
I'm also the type of person who will never pretend to know something I don't - I'll dig in, research, ask questions, and figure it out the right way. I believe that integrity matters, communication matters, and when you do a job right, it shows.
Outside of work, I enjoy being with my family, my three favorite furry children, learning new systems, and finding new ways to bring order to chaos, like re-organizing the Tupperware drawer (yes, there is a matching lid for every container).
